My arrival in Owen Sound was preceded by moving from Toronto to Markdale and Newfoundland with my family. Since my brother lived here, I had the advantage of knowing someone here.
Working in a number of jobs quickly expanded my circle of friends and volunteering for the Lung Association and subsequent organizations kept me busy.
One of my best decisions was joining the Roxy Theatre and landing roles in a few plays. The highlights of this area include the access to water, the ease of meeting and making new friends and the beauty of our surroundings. Owen Sound has something for everyone…including weekly bocce.
