Sydney Pettit
I’m Sydney Pettit, a 17-year-old living in Owen Sound, Ontario. I’ve always been interested in the arts, understanding how important artistic communities are.
Music has always been a large part of my life with my father influencing my music taste growing up. This led me on my path to co-organizing Banditfest, a music festival essential for including youth in the arts in southern Ontario.
I met my fellow co-organizers, Mya and Olive, in my grade 10 English class. Since that pivotal moment I have learnt so many skills. I feel incredibly grateful for the connections that I have made in this position and the growth that I have experienced.
