“I first came to Sauble Beach in 1974 for weekends at our family cottage that quickly became our little piece of heaven. We’d pack up the car and escape the city, drawn by the clean, endless water and the simple joy of local spots like Duffy’s Tavern, The Downtowner, and the Gold Rush Saloon — unforgettable times.
Over the years, it felt right to make this more than a getaway. We moved here, raised our kids where bikes, sports, fishing, and hiking were part of everyday life.
Nearly forty years later, I’m still in the same home in Owen Sound— and wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
