We’re asking the good people of Grey Bruce Simcoe to tell us their story in 100 words….without mentioning their job, career, or work.

Megan Myles

As a proud fifth-generation “peninsulite”, my connection to Grey-Bruce runs deep. So naturally, after university and travel, I returned. Two years ago, an opportunity in Owen Sound sparked my move into the city. Wherever I’ve lived—Lion’s Head, Squamish, Barcelona, Yellowknife— I always like to jump in and see what each place has to offer. These days, that includes roller derby, neighbourhood potlucks, sailing, and strolling downtown. And I know I’ve just scratched the surface. From small town to big town, I feel lucky to call both Grey and Bruce home.
