Looking for that iconic Canadian sound this summer?

Upside of Maybe are a band from Stratford, Ontario that have toured across Canada playing upbeat shows all the way from Hamilton to Regina. Now they’ve got their sights set on Owen Sound as they’re taking part in the TD Harbour Nights series this Sunday at 7pm outside the Visitor’s Centre.

Onion Honey kicked off the series last weekend to a good sized crowd of lawn-chair sittin’, music-lovin’ Sounders. And with the weather we’ve been having lately, this Sunday might just be the perfect evening to sit out and hear some great Canadiana!

Upside of Maybe are coming off a 2017 EP titled the Freedom Sessions that was engineered by Duke Foster (Blue Rodeo/City and Colour) and my favourite has to be Worth Fighting For – the intro guitar riffs just scream of summer!

“We wanted to do something that was raw and sonically gritty, while still staying true to who we are as a band,” says singer Michael Bannerman.

He’ll be belting out tunes from 7-9, so make your way down the Marine and Rail Museum this Sunday for this award winning, roots based pop/rock group known for their tight harmonies and infectious story telling.

From small pubs and intimate house concerts, to rowdy festivals and concert halls – when Upside of Maybe takes the stage it’s all about creating a memory and capturing a moment.
