Nahleena Tye

I moved to Owen Sound from Toronto in 2022 for a slower pace of life and a stronger sense of community. After years in the city’s rush, I wanted to be closer to nature—surrounded by water, trails, and open space. Owen Sound offers a beautiful balance of small-town charm and cultural vibrancy, with local art, festivals, and friendly faces. It’s a place where I can breathe, connect, and enjoy a more grounded lifestyle without sacrificing creativity or opportunity. Moving here has given me a deeper appreciation for simplicity, balance, and the beauty of living close to nature and community.
