“The beauty of living in 2026 is that you can relive any decade anytime you want. Art, music, films, & tv shows of days gone by are alive & well & readily available at your fingertips whenever you need a taste of simpler times. It is no different when it comes to getting dressed.
Maybe the rise in popularity of preloved fashion, whether vintage or consignment, is secretly our desire to stay connected to what was with the hope of what could be. With a mix of pieces from the past & present, I wanted to create a style narrative that felt both nostalgic & fresh, really celebrating true personal style in the modern age.
Making style personal to me means that you go on instinct & interest versus crafting a persona that revolves around trends. It comes from rejecting the norm & celebrating who you truly are. Each look blends different decades, textures, colours & aims to inspire a rebellious spirit when it comes to the art of getting dressed.

“We’re leaning into nostalgia for this editorial. Can you blame us? I think we’re all missing the past a little right now. The kind that sits somewhere deep in your stomach. Lately, I’ve felt more connected than ever to that rebellious inner teen. The version of myself that embraced the messy look, made mistakes without overthinking them, stayed out too late, and let the night become whatever it wanted to be. The playful, instinctive, imperfect version.
Somewhere along the way, I think a lot of us started trying to polish ourselves down. Work harder. Be more productive. More put together. But maybe we deserve to have a little more fun again. To keep our spark. To be louder, stranger, softer, freer.
Open your mouth a little wider. Loudly chew the bubble gum. Pick the book because you love the cover art. Dress up for absolutely no reason. Leave the laundry unfolded for one more night.
It feels like growing up taught us how to hold ourselves together, but maybe this editorial is about remembering how to loosen our grip a little too.
