After the progressive dining experience, follow the path through the gardens for a remarkable show: Rueben and the Dark with the Bullhorn Singers was born through an unexpected turn of events. It was 2019 at the Calgary Stampede when the renowned indie-folk outfit, Reuben and the Dark and traditional powwow champions, Bullhorn Singers merged for a live performance that left the crowd breathless. This impromptu and unlikely union of culture, life experience and sound in front of thousands was electric, and the start of a deep friendship and artistic collaboration between the two groups as they continue to write, record, headline festival stages and tour North America. This dynamic artist collective – now formally known as Reuben And The Dark and Bullhorn Singers – are unintentionally creating history in Canada; breaking down cultural boundaries through art to represent the healing power of music.
