April 2, 9, 23 & 30th

Improv returns to Theatre Collingwood! After receiving fantastic feedback following our inaugural Improv class in the Autumn of 2024, we’re back with a new, low-pressure format that will allow you to test the waters and see if Improv is for you before committing to an entire course! We’re confident that you will fall in love with this expressive, joyful part of the performing arts – come for one session, or join in for all four. The choice is yours!

About the Instructor: Shirley Joost is an accomplished actor, improv artist, and overall renaissance woman. In the past year alone she has experienced a whirlwind of theatrical mischief, including storytelling in a variety show, transitioning from improv student to improv teacher, winning the Georgian Bay Story Slam, performing in Thornbury Community Theatre’s The Dining Room, and starring as The Cheshire Cat in Theatre Collingwood’s production of Alice in Wonderland: The Panto. Shirley is a visual artist and the proud creator of @FreeLittleArtGalleryNottawa.
