This Is My ({}) is a powerful production that brings forward the voices of twelve women and their relationships with their vulvas—celebratory, complex, raw, provocative, and deeply moving. Each vignette offers a glimpse into experiences often hidden by shame, secrecy, or silence.
Every story is embodied by dancers Catherine Lafond and Jodi Behan, who interpret each vulva and her emotional landscape through movement. Woven between these vignettes, Fran Bouwman—founder of Viva la Flying Vulva—offers historical and contemporary context, grounding the personal narratives into a larger cultural conversation.
This show is bold, intimate, and quietly revolutionary. It invites people of all genders and all ages to grow curious, compassionate, and engaged in the reclamation of the vulva.
