Southampton Canada Day
Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the “Celebrate Canada!” fireworks and festivities by the Big Flag in Southampton on July 1st. The thrilling fireworks show will begin at dusk, but there will be lots to explore before that! Grab a bite to eat at the Big Flag with the Saugeen Shores Rotary BBQ starting at 4pm. Thank you to the Southampton Rotarians who will also be cruising as the “Bucket Brigade”. They will be collecting donations that help make the fireworks a free event for families and visitors of Saugeen Shores. Southampton Rotary will also fire up their ‘POP’ular popcorn machine starting at 3pm.
Spectators are encouraged to bike to the Big Flag and take in the rocking music of Something’s Flying, followed by the Southampton Concert Band and then Get Back – Beatles Tribute prior to the giant fireworks at dusk.
