A VIDA DOCE – THE SWEET LIFE is an eclectic mix of Latin music, steeped in the many languages of love. From Portugal to Spain to France and Brazil, travel with us through the traditional, folk and jazz influenced music that has left an indelible mark on our hearts and souls.
A Collingwood native with a stunning voice, Sheri Weldon combines elegance, warmth, and deep musical artistry. Her performances span jazz, opera, and musical theatre, earning acclaim across Canada.
Toronto-based Jazz guitarist and composer, Dan Ionescu, was acclaimed by jazz critics as the top Romanian jazz guitarist for 12 consecutive years. Since arriving in Toronto in 1996, Dan has been very active in the jazz community performing with some of Toronto’s top musicians and on acclaimed albums. In 2014 he released a Brazilian/world music project entitled “Ginga”.
