Following a well-received debut, the Parkwood Jazz Trio returns with Tyler Wagler on double bass, bringing this dynamic quartet to Parkwood for a second engaging performance.

Enjoy timeless melodies from jazz greats including Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, George Gershwin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Charlie Parker, and more. The set list will take you from swing medleys to Latin grooves, bebop gems, introspective ballads and 2 original compositions by Don Buchanan.

About Tyler Wagler

Based in Guelph, Tyler Wagler is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and educator. A founding member of modern roots reggae band The Human Rights, he has spent nearly two decades performing across genres. As a double bassist, Tyler moves comfortably from folk and swing to straight-ahead jazz. He is also Musical Director of the Guelph Youth Jazz Ensemble and teaches double bass and acoustic guitar at the University of Guelph.
