Meteor Heist and The Commune
Join two of Canada’s most exciting bands at Heartwood Hall on July 24 for an unforgettable night of live original music. Praised by Exclaim! magazine as one of Canada’s Top 5 Emerging Artists in February 2026, METEOR HEIST is a Toronto-based indie-pop band that has quickly become a standout in the Canadian music scene. Since forming in 2022, the band has performed on acclaimed stages including Beaches Jazz Festival, Summerfolk, NXNE, Stewart Park Festival, It’s Your Festival, and the Danforth Music Hall, where they opened for Stars. After the release of their 2nd EP in January 2026, their momentum continues to build with upcoming performances at the Hamilton Fringe Festival, Grand Bend Sunset Sounds, POP Montreal, and Endless Summer Festival in Kitchener, where they’ll open for the legendary Mother Mother.
Fresh off lead singer Finbar Wall’s 10-show tour across Canada’s West Coast, THE COMMUNE returns to the stage for their first full-band performance of the summer. The Commune has established itself as one of Hamilton’s most exciting live acts, blending infectious folk-Americana with high-energy performances. The band has appeared on stages at Sound of Music, Pembina River Nights, Convergence Festival, Summerfolk, Festival of Friends, and more. They’ve also shared the stage with an impressive lineup of artists, opening for Babyjake, Union Duke, Trooper, and Canadian rock legends Junkhouse, joining them for nearly a dozen shows over the past three years.
