Rumpus Room and Sour Cat Records are proud to present a bill absolutely loaded with local talent!
Jesse Corrigan launching his brand new album, 10 Old Songs, accompanied by Grey Bruce musical royalty, JD Crosstown with support from the very talented Allison MacGregor and Al McDonough.
Jesse Corrigan is a folk musician and singer-songwriter hailing from Toronto, Ontario. With a passion for music from a young age, Jesse began playing the guitar at the age of 10 when he asked his mom to teach him a few chords on the nylon string guitar she had lying around. An A chord, D chord and E chord later he knew “Amazing Grace” and there was no turning back.
JD Crosstown is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose music weaves together the roots of folk, country, and blues. Hailing from Neyaashiinigmiing (Chippewas of Nawash Territory) in Ontario, Crosstown picked up the guitar at an early age, nurtured by the sounds and stories of his family and community. What began as a local passion has grown into a lifelong artistic journey, leading to performances across Canada and Europe with a growing reputation on both sides of the Atlantic.
