Doug Tielli has been a fixture of Southern Ontario’s music community as a multi-instrumentalist, song-writer, improvisor and composer in a variety of ensembles such as The silt, Drumheller, and The Reveries, as well as pursuing his own singer-songwriter project. With songs, tunes, and compositions that freely span folk, pop, jazz and experimental music, Doug has released 5 solo recordings since 2011. He has performed and recorded with such artists as: Marshall Allen, Owen Pallett, Amy Millan, John Oswald, Evan Parker, The Constantines, Rheostatics, Baby Dee, Devon Sproule, Jennifer Castle, Tom Brousseau, and has had chamber works performed by Arraymusic, Contact Contemporary Music and Neither/Nor.
