Described on CBC radio as having one of Canada’s stellar rock voices, Carl Dixon brings his one man show “Songs & Stories From a Life Well Rocked” to Meaford Hall. Carl performs music from his first hit songs to songs from the bands he fronted including The Guess Who, April Wine and Coney Hatch. Carl shares stories from a life on the road opening for Iron Maiden and Judas Priest on North American tours during his MTV days, to finding his feet as a solo performer in the ever-changing rock industry. Raw, funny, honest Carl shares the story of his body mangling motor vehicle accident, brain injury and his unlikely recovery. “A Man of Titanium Rock and Soul” Carl has truly been given a second chance at life.
