Deep Dark Woods
Originally from Saskatchewan and now based in Southern Ontario, The Deep Dark Woods take up a deep tradition of forlorn storytelling, drawing lines from Celtic folksongs to country blues, John Fahey to Shirley Collins. Lush and devastating, founding member Ryan Boldt’s gothic surrealism is stark in detail and full of emotion, a murder balladeer for our time.
Join us for this magical evening at Riverstone…136 acres of river, forest and field just outside the Town of Durham. Please feel free to bring refreshments of your choosing or even a picnic to enjoy by the river, and don’t forget cash to buy merchandise from the band.
This is a rain or shine event, the show is held under a roofed area. Doors are at 7pm, showtime is 8pm. As always, 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artist, the house takes nothing. Tickets are just $30, and available here
