ONE NIGHT, THREE AMAZING ACTS, a show not to miss!! (please see note at the bottom for reserving seating!)
Rockabilly phenom Nicholas Campbell & The Metre Cheaters will be bringing their red-hot rocking to Parkwood by Heartwood on April 18th!  In tow with Campbell will be local favourites Stephen Stanley & Chris Bennett PLUS Michael O’Grady along with singer-songwriter extraordinaire Graven. This will be a party you won’t want to miss, hosted by some of the most talented acts around.”
Fresh from a residency at Toronto’s legendary Horseshoe Tavern,  Nicholas Campbell and company will be heading out on a nationwide tour, spanning from the maritimes all the way to the sunshine coast to promote their newest album, People Like To Talk, which was released January 23rd.
The Stephen Stanley Band (This show a now a TRIO: Stephen & his “right hand man” guitar slinger Chris Bennett + Michael O’Grady) has shared stages with the likes of, 54•40, Bob Mould, Cracker, Lee Ann Womak, Jake Clemons, Willie Nile, The Jayhawks, and Lloyd Cole. They’ve played festival stages in Germany, and toured across the UK and Ireland. Stephen Stanley is based on Wolfe Island and was a founding member, lead guitarist and vocalist of acclaimed 90’s alt-rock band, The Lowest of the Low.

Graven (Matty McKechnie) is an award winning “thunder twang” folk rock singer songwriter from Nepean, Ontario. He  has made albums with acclaimed engineers and producers like Jim Bryson (collaborator with Kathleen Edwards, The Weakerthans), Joel Plaskett and Charles Austin and has shared stages with Steve Poltz, Sarah Harmer, Kevin Drew, Kevin Hearn, Danny Michel and many more. Whether he is with his five alarm band or totally solo, he always wears his heart on the sleeve of his magical melodies and his starkly specific loom-woven lyrics.

NOTE! This show is taking place in Parkwood Restaurant below the Hall and it’s the rear entrance in alley behind the building. LIMITED available seating for this event! The show starts at 9, and we have “doors open time” as 8:30 but please consider an earlier dinner reservation and to do so, say perhaps 7:30/8pm so you MUST make a reservation for a table by calling the restaurant at 226-664-0340 or online at https://www.parkwoodbyheartwood.ca/
