Animal Boy, Habit, Thresher

Animal Boy is a genre-bending alternative rock band from Guelph, Ontario formed in 2019. With the lyricality and narrative of ballads and the style and tone of punk rock, Animal Boy offers a unique sound which defies strict categorization. Delivering high-energy, danceable instrumentation and memorable, honest lyrics, the band takes inspiration from artists like Carseat Headrest, Alvvays, and IDLES. Animal Boy has recently been featured at Riverfest Elora, Canadian Music Week, NXNE, and has opened for internationally touring bands, Born Ruffians and MONOWHALES. In January 2023, Animal Boy released their third full-length album, My Love is a Terror and is set to release an EP titled ‘CURSE’ in June 2024.
