Jazz Brunch with Don Buchanan, Robert Gasadilo and Stephen Woods
Experience the magic of three talented musicians – Don Buchanan, Robert Gasidlo and Stephen Woods – in a unique trio format of two keyboard players and drums. Don will also dazzle on tenor saxophone for a few special tunes.
Enjoy timeless melodies from legendary composers like Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, George Gershwin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Charlie Parker, and more. With the versatility of these three seasoned musicians, you’ll hear all the sounds of a full band—bass, drums, piano, organ, guitar, and saxophone.
Drawing on over 25 years of performing in the Grey/Bruce area, Don and Robert bring a rich musical history to the stage, having played in groups like Stardust Big Band (Swing), Razzamatazz (Dixieland), Gypsy Jive Band (Klezmer), and Sploink (modern, high energy jazz). Don and Stephen bring a wealth of shared experience to the performance, having played together many times in the Noodle Factory Jazz Project and at the Southampton Jazz Club.
