Explorers Day Camp is back with a March Break jam-packed with adventure and fun! Explore the Museum’s exhibits, and experience daily themed hands-on fun with crafts, games, experiments, outdoor play, and a different special guest each day. Register early to avoid disappointment! 

 

Ages 5-10 years | Space is limited, preregistration and prepayment are required.

March Break Explorers Camp Schedule

Monday – Illusions 

Discover the amazing science behind how our eyes and brain can play tricks on us. Learn about light and perception through hands-on experiments and mind-bending activities and make your own optical illusion artwork (op-art) to take home.

Tuesday – A Splash of Inspiration 

Unleash your creativity through painting and other art activities inspired by Yükselle Hassan’s Realism in Fantasy exhibit. Explore a variety of techniques and follow prompts to bring your imagination to life with paint! 

 

Wednesday – Animal Planet 

Get up close and personal with some amazing animals from Wild Ontario! We’ll investigate how creatures adapt to survive, create animal-inspired crafts, and explore the incredible diversity of life on our planet. 

 

Thursday – Legends and Lore 

Dive into the magical world of storytelling, where you’ll explore myths, fairy tales, and legendary creatures. Become the hero of your own epic adventure and learn some local lore to share with your family and friends. 

 

Friday – Space Academy 

Blast into adventure where you’ll train as a junior astronaut and explore the mysteries of the universe. Discover the wonders of space and ignite your imagination with out-of-this-world crafts, activities, and an astronomy show from special guest Dr. John H.
