This impromptu and unlikely union of culture\, life experience and sound in front of thousands was electric\, and the start of a deep friendship and artistic collaboration between the two groups as they continue to write\, record\, headline festival stages and tour North America. This dynamic artist collective – now formally known as Reuben And The Dark and Bullhorn Singers – are unintentionally creating history in Canada; breaking down cultural boundaries through art to represent the healing power of music.

SUMMARY:Gold Dust Women Songwriter's Reunion Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join Lori Yates (industry troublemaker featured in Toronto Star)\, Kylie Fox (ECMA Artist of the Year nominee)\, and Paige Warner (new acclaimed debut album Bitter/Sweet) on a captivating musical journey that celebrates the heart and soul of songwriting in intimate settings across Ontario! After a successful and buzz-worthy tour across Ontario in September\, the three artists are joining forces once again for a reunion tour! \nFrom Toronto\, Lori Yates\, the pioneer of alt-country\, weaves narratives that resonate with authenticity and warmth. Kylie Fox\, hailing from the East Coast\, infuses her set with folk-Canadiana elements and unique jazz-pop/folk-rock fusions. From Owen Sound\, Paige Warner offers a soulful sound with evocative ballads\, deeply personal lyrics\, and catchy hooks. \nThe “Gold Dust Women Songwriters Tour” showcases three uniquely talented Canadian women: \nLong recognized by her peers and respected as one of Canada’s top talents\, Lori Yates was called “alt-country” long before the phrase existed – the pioneer of a genre in the making. This is an artist who met Johnny Cash\, hung out with Tammy Wynette\, wrote with Guy Clark\, Don Schlitz\, and Colin Linden\, jammed with Jerry Jeff Walker\, drank with Harlan Howard\, sang with Greg Allman\, Rick Danko\, and Jim Cuddy\, and ate jelly beans with Roy Acuff. As the saying goes\, she’s “been to the show.” Lori’s nominations include the Juno award\, Canadian Country Music Award\, Polaris Prize award (long list)\, City of Oshawa Lifetime Achievement Award nomination. She has won: Songwriter of the Year\, (Hamilton Music Awards) Alt-Country Recording of the Year (Hamilton Music Awards) SOCAN #1 award. Most recently a City of Hamilton Arts Awards Lifetime Achievement nomination. Her lyrics are immortalized in Hamilton’s Gore Park. A dynamic and often hilarious performer\, what sets her apart is her golden voice; part honey\, part growl. You believe every note that comes out of her mouth\, she’s that kind of singer\, the real deal. Her lyrics are gritty\, tender\, and poignant. loriyates.com \nKylie Fox is a New Brunswick singer-songwriter that fuses folk storytelling with vintage elements of jazz and alternative rock. With influences like Kate Bush\, Sharon Van Etten\, and Joni Mitchell\, her music is ethereal\, lush and real. Her new singles\, “Confetti\,” and album\, “Sequoia”\, are produced by Daniel Ledwell (Jenn Grant\, The Good Lovelies\, Fortunate Ones). Fox’s debut album led her to tour Canada extensively\, sharing stages alongside names like Bahamas\, The Strumbellas\, Joel Plaskett\, and Matt Minglewood. She has showcased at countless music awards and festivals\, was recently named “Innovator of the Year” at the 2023 PrixNB Awards\, and was just nominated for the ECMA’s Artist of the Year. kyliefox.ca \nWith a captivating voice\, Paige Warner\, creates alt-pop music with soul-inspired vocal licks layered on catchy hooks of poetic lyrics. Though her career started as a busker in her small Ontario hometown\, it has led her to perform on stages such as Massey Hall’s TD Music Hall\, Yonge-Dundas Square\, Summerfolk\, and share stages with iconic artists including Ron Sexsmith and Monowhales. Her songwriting is catchy and emotive\, with lyrics touching on themes of heartbreak\, female resilience\, and love. “Paige Warner doesn’t just sing about pain; she transforms it into a statement of strength and defiance\, offering her listeners a breath of fresh air and inspiration…” paigewarner.ca

SUMMARY:Madison Violet
DESCRIPTION:Madison Violet is a Canadian Juno-nominated female musical duo\, consisting of Lisa MacIsaac and Brenley MacEachern. \n2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Madison Violet. A rare and impressive feat that they are both proud of and grateful for. \nThe pair\, who both have roots in rural Cape Breton\, came together musically in the late 1990s. Influenced by their maritime heritage\, Brenley and Lisa began creating music together that had roots firmly planted in their past\, but with contemporary and modern elements generously overlaid. Categorizing Madison Violet’s music is an impossible task\, in that one can hear elements of folk\, singer-songwriter\, pop\, indie\, bluegrass\, and country flawlessly interwoven throughout. \nMacIsaac and MacEachern are exceptional story tellers\, skilled multi-instrumentalists\, and together\, perfect harmonists. Their voices soar\, perfectly complimenting each other\, as they sing lyrics that will both mend and break your heart. \nMacIsaac and MacEachern have released more than 10 albums together. Their latest record “eleven” was self-recorded and produced\, ranking MacIssac and MacEachern among the less than 2.1% of female-identifying music producers in the industry. \n“Eleven” is considered their most candid album to date\, filled with deeply personal stories of love and loss. \nThe musicians have received dozens of notable accolades for their work\, including a JUNO nomination for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year. They have brought home a Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Vocal Group Album of the Year\, have reached the top 5 on the Canadian iTunes download charts\, amassed over one million streams on Spotify\, and have placed on CBC’s Top 20 multiple times throughout their career. \nTheir music is consistently played across Canada and throughout the world\, and the internationally acclaimed artists are no strangers to receiving glowing reviews for both their studio work\, and live performances. \nMacIsaac and MacEachern currently live in and around Toronto\, Ontario\, tour internationally\, identify as members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community\, and are fervent advocates for social justice. \nProudly presented by Meaford Hall
