From dramatic cliffs and hidden caves to ancient coral reefs\, waterfalls\, fossils\, karst landscapes and sweeping Georgian Bay vistas\, this talk explores the stories written in stone across the Niagara Escarpment and beyond.   \nWith photos\, maps and personal stories from the trail\, Beth brings the region’s geology to life\, explaining how these remarkable places were formed hundreds of millions of years ago — and why they continue to inspire hikers\, and nature lovers today. Whether you’re already familiar with the books or simply interested in local natural history\, this presentation offers an engaging introduction to some of Grey and Bruce’s most memorable walks.  \nTwo of Beth’s books\, Walking Through Time: Exploring Niagara Escarpment Geology in the Sydenham Bruce Trail Section and Walking Through Time: Exploring Geology of the Saugeen (Bruce) Peninsula are available in the Museum’s gift shop.   \nBeth will also be selling her most recent release\, the revised 2nd Edition of Walking Through Time: Exploring Niagara Escarpment Geology in the Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Section.  \n$10 Members | $15 Non-members. Registration is required.  \nLight refreshments available.  \nProudly presented by Georgian College.
