SUMMARY:Abstracted Realities Opening
DESCRIPTION:In Abstracted Realities\, Viz Saraby and Simon Kattar both take everyday experiences and transform them into something entirely new. Kattar’s paintings are full of movement\, colour\, and rhythm\, a sensory translation of life itself\, while Saraby twists the familiar with conceptual play\, humour\, and abstraction. Together\, their works invite viewers to explore a world where reality is just the starting point\, sometimes strange\, sometimes funny\, always thought-provoking.

Diyet and the Love Soldiers recently performed at Osaka Expo 2025 in Japan. \nDiyet & The Love Soldiers new music expands across the width of Canadiana music with a focus on lyrical stories taking the listener on a journey through land and time. Each song is rooted in her life in Kluane and her experience as an indigenous woman walking in two worlds. Inspired by vast landscapes\, clashing and embracing realities\, Diyet’s heartfelt lyrics paint a picture of wildness\, truth\, hope\, reconciliation\, history and the community that surrounds her. \n“Diyet’s poetic lyrics are heartfelt and true\, full of hope and inspiration for positive change in her community.”– DISCourse
