SUMMARY:Improv Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This fun\, fast-paced workshop builds on the lessons and exercises introduced in the Roxy Theatre Beginners Improv Workshop. Through the use of energetic games and interactive exercises\, this workshop will focus on building your strengths in the core principles of improvisation: listening\, accepting\, and advancing ideas. These tools not only make for great comedy—they also enhance everyday communication\, teamwork\, and confidence. \nExpect lots of laughs\, creative discoveries\, and supportive collaboration as you stretch your spontaneity muscles and learn to trust your instincts. Participants should be prepared to perform with and for their classmates in a safe and encouraging environment. \nRoxy Theatre Beginners Improv workshop or previous improv experience is recommended. \nThis workshop uses the concepts and exercises from The Second City Toronto\, TheatreSports\, and Canadian Improv Games.
