DESCRIPTION:Lumen Printing with Julie Pasila \nOctober 19th\nTime: 1- 4 PM\nCost: $120 per person Blue Moon Collective 13 Toronto St S \nSpend an afternoon exploring analogue\, experimental photography in collaboration with the natural world. \nThe workshop includes: \n\n\nIntroduction to materials and process with a live demo (intro & demo) \n\n\nTrail walk and foraging for natural materials (trail walk to forage materials) \n\n\nCreating compositions and first sunlight exposures in the studio or outside (create compositions & exposures with the sun)\n \n\n\nFixing and washing prints\, sharing results (fix\, wash & review compositions) \n\n\nOptional time for experimentation\, additional exposures\, and exploring personal compositions (experiment & refine) \n\n\nJulie Pasila is a Tkaronto/Toronto-based artist whose practice engages with landscape and ephemeral elements like sunlight\, breezes\, and water. Her work has been exhibited internationally and supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. Posters for event attached!
