DESCRIPTION:Imagine walking through a pristine forest and seeing a plethora of vulva creations \non your journey. This is a transformative experience you don’t want to miss. \nVulva Forest Walk\, Walter’s Falls – On August 9 & 10th\, between 10-5 pm\, Fran Bouwman\, founder/creator of Viva la \nFlying Vulva\, is hosting over 15 esteemed artists\, musicians\, and performance artists to reclaim the importance of the \nvulva. The erasure of this word has had profound effects on women’s health\, esteem and sexuality. This event is a \nreclamation of women’s holistic intelligence\, beauty\, wisdom and power. \nBouwman’s work will feature the vulva in all four elements\, earth\, air\, fire and water. A 20ft floating vulva balloon \nsculpture will be centered above the Oxytocin Flow Dance performed by Sharon Johnson and Dana Burmaster. \n“The Spirit of the Vulva” \n\, a fire sculpture commemorates women who have come before us. \n“The Spirit of the Vulva” \ninvites guests to sit in silence and reflect on the historical significance of the vulva\, as well as their own thoughts and \nfeelings on vulva awareness\, sensuality\, sexuality and esteem. \nBouwman has chosen to display this collection of vulva art in nature\, in hopes that walking through an enchanting forest \nwill create a deep and soulful connection to the sacred and miraculous part of the female anatomy. \nThis event is inclusive and everyone is welcome. There is an added outdoor space for enjoying vulva waffles\, stick-on \nvulva tattoos\, a vulva bean bag toss\, and a circle for conversation and dialogue. Viva la Flying Vulva merchandise will be \navailable – T-shirts\, ball caps and colouring books. There is no entrance fee but donations for the charity are welcomed. \nRefreshments will be provided. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own water bottles

DESCRIPTION:Bradley Hale grew up in small town Ontario in and around the town of Elmira. Spend anytime there and you’re bound to hear the sweet sounds of country music pumping from pickup trucks and tractors\, over speakers at a backyard barbecue\, or even from the hockey change room. Combine that with a rich family history of both farming and music\, and you get an artist that’s steeped in country roads and country music. \nBradley learned to play and sing at a young age. Influenced by Eric Church\, Zach Bryan and Riley Green\, combined with a love of John Mayer\, he has crafted a sound that is familiar yet completely unique. \nThese rich influences are weaved together with his own experiences and strong hometown\, backroads style finding their way into his songwriting\, co-writing\, and recording. With his big warm baritone country voice Bradley delivers heart-rendering ballads as well as driving country rockers.\nBradley earned a spot in this years highly coveted Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist show case as well as opening for Cooper Alan at the Kee to Bala this summer. He adds this to his resume of notable live performances including several shows with Owen Riegling as well opening spots for James Barker Band\, Steven Lee Olsen\, Jason Blaine and others. \nIn Bradley’s first 10 months of releasing music he has garnered the attention of notable Apple Music editorial playlists “Canada’s Country Best of 2024” end of year playlist\, “Country Hits Unplugged”\, “New in Country”\, “Canada’s Country”\, “Country Risers” and “Country Lovin” while accumulating over 250K streams across platforms Bradley’s dream is to bring his heartfelt songs and love of country music to audiences here and everywhere.
