Celebrate the launch of Saukiing Anishnaabekiing presents Our Stories. This eye-catching new exhibit invokes Anishinaabe creation stories and details the significant impact of the treaty process on First Nations communities in what is now Grey County.

Nyle Miigizi Johnston, the visionary artist behind the exhibit, will speak to his artistic process and inspiration before leading a colouring activity for children inspired by his work.

Local Indigenous Author Dorothy Ladd will read from her beautiful new children’s book “Memengwaa – The Monarch Butterfly“.

Delicious refreshments will be provided by Heather Kewaquom of Bawbi Chow Catering.

Held on a PD day Friday, this is a great event for kids, students and the whole family. Admission is by donation – all are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to explore the museum before or following the event.
