May 28 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Rouleau Basket
Saturday, May 28, 2022; 9am-4pm

Add to your sewing skills by spending a day making a beautiful coiled cloth basket or bowl and a very useful mat that can become a hot pad, a placemat, a coaster, or a decorative mat. Learn a wide variety of techniques for making rouleau, the basis of our coiled projects, plus many its other uses. We will also cover textile elements such as colour, pattern, harmony, stitch, and embellishment. Then you can toss it all to the wind. With our experienced seamstress Pam Woodward, you will learn sewing tips you won’t find on Pinterest. Must have previous sewing experience.
