About Benno:

I was raised in Lion’s Head, and was constantly immersed in the region’s natural environment through the form of running off into the bush and whacking my brothers with sticks. Eventually I came to Barrie to continue my education into high school. Living in Barrie shocked me out of all those years of “bushwhacking”, and introduced me to urban living and style. When I eventually picked up the camera, my engrained love for nature became the focus of my creative output. However, as I continued to develop my skills, my interests widened and I began to explore urban photography. Currently, capturing moments which have the capacity to evoke emotions from within an onlooker is the drive behind my photos. Looking towards the future, I hope to be able to travel and find out where my photography takes me around the world.
